Nurses are born fighters.
Looking back on all of the
activity of this past month and
summer, at all of the ups and
the downs, it's clear that when
push comes to shove, we have
what it takes to challenge
injustice wherever and whenever we encounter it. Whether that injustice is happening at the bedside, with our for-profit healthcare system, or with global capital, nurses feel compelled to speak out and struggle against it because our bottom line is caring for people.
