Cover 4:2 7/9/07 1:17 PM Page 1 YOU'VE SEEN THE MOVIE, NOW WHAT? S o you've seen SiCKO, used up a whole box of tissues, and left the theater mad as hell. Now what? If you live in California, mark off Aug. 11 on your calendar. That's the date that CNA/NNOC is staging a huge rally in support of SB 840, pending legislation that would create a guaranteed healthcare system in the state. Tell your friends, family, coworkers, church members, neighbors, and anybody else you can think of to go see SiCKO. Organize some outings to see it together so that you can discuss the movie afterwards. Believe us, people always want to talk after they see this movie. Make a public ruckus. Fire off some letters to the editor of your local paper and give them a piece of your mind. Phone up your Congressional representative and tell him or her to support HR 676, the federal bill that would establish national healthcare for all. If you live in California, tell your state legislator and the governor to support SB 840. Sign up on our website, www.GuaranteedHealthcare.org, to join the campaign, get e-mail alerts, and stay tuned for what's next.
