and HR 676 nationally.
The California Nurses Association/National
Nurses Organizing Committee is joining with
RNs and RN organizations around the U.S. to
host 3,000 screenings of the opening of
"SiCKO," filmmaker Michael Moore's celebrated
new movie about the health insurance industry. This is a historic chance to turn moviegoers
into committed patient advocates and healthcare reformers—but we need your help.
Here's what you can do: Come to the
screenings and distribute information about how we can solve the healthcare crisis by supporting guaranteed healthcare on the single-payer model.
Mark your calendars for the evening of Friday, June 29. Sign up on our website—
www.guaranteedhealthcare.org/sicko—with your zip code, and we'll send you more details
when available and a flyer to pass out. All you'll have to do is buy tickets online, print out the
flyer, and encourage your buddies to join you.
