Judge finds Sutter illegally cut sick leave, health benefits for RNs
CALIFORNIA -- A federal administrative law judge with the National Labor Relations Board handed the California Nurses Association a resounding victory in late July, finding Sutter Bay East Hospitals engaged in illegal "unfair labor practices" when it unilaterally cut paid sick leave and eliminated all paid healthcare coverage for RNs at Sutter Delta Medical Center who work fewer than 30 hours per week, affecting about 300 nurses and their families.
